Winding down for Christmas

It’s been a hectic couple of months, but finally, this week, it feels like things are slowing down for the festive holidays. The last few weeks have had me travelling down to Southend to interview an adult male performer for a top shelf magazine, – due to be published in January – I’ve completed a fun and easy feature about Dating in December for all those romantics out there and most recently I’ve started to embrace my tomboy side. Originally a post on my Straight Out Of Crompton blog (see link above), the Cliterati founder enjoyed it so much that she asked if it could be cross posted, which of course I was happy to do. I’m hoping this theme of Tomboy will become a bigger project for me in 2014. Watch this space. There are a couple of other new links to features on my Portfolio page, so be sure to check it out.

Back in November, I was very kindly offered the chance to get some new head shots done by photographer Saskia Nelson. Usually Saskia specialises in taking the perfect photo for your online dating profile – a job I didn’t realise existed until meeting her! For me it was all about getting some updated shots for press and promo, so we headed to Camden (my favourite part of London) and did a day of shooting. It was awesome! Some of the ace results of the day can now be seen on my Home and About page.

New images, so you can all see how grown up I look now I work for myself, is just one of the changes I plan to make to this site. Hopefully there will be a few more tweaks in the new year so that access to my work and navigating around the site is a bit simpler.

Until then, let me wish you a very Merry Christmas and fabulous New Year and I look forward to working with you in 2014!
